My father is no more and I am with my mother. She is now 60 years old and still very strong. Sometimes, even stronger than me. Sure I will take care of her and I think, even my kids would love to do this thing because she has been a very good mother and grandmother. I have no plans of turning her over to an institution when she is already too old and weak. What about you?

If it came down to it, I would help my mother, but only because I love her so much and since she put up with me growing up, it's only right that I pay her back even though I'll never be able to pay the full price. But, if it all goes well, she'll be living out the rest of her days in Hawaii. ^_^

I take care of my mother alot now.
I am 28 and she is 54. She lives on her own and still works, but I always make sure she is taken care of. I take her to the doctor, as she will not go without me. I take care of paper work for her. I do what ever she needs me to do, and have ever since I was 18. It was like the roles reversed. She needs me and I love to help her.

My husband and I will own our house in 2 years, and I've already told her that we will give her this house. That way when she gets ready to retire, she no longer has to rent her home. We will build another home close by this one so I can be there if she ever needs me.

She's my mom and I love her.

My mother has no intention of living in my care, since she's a very independent person. She plans to move back to Japan, or possibly the Philippines, and I respect that entirely. But if worse comes to worst I'll be there to take great care of her, since she's just now turning 44 (her birthday is in 4 days too, wow.)

Yes I will always be there for my parents if they are ever in need. Fortunately I have many brothers and sisters, and my father has become reasonably succesful in a financial sense late in life. So, I am blessed that the burden does not seem to overwhelming, and they are still very healthy.

My dad passed away at age 57 but I took care of him the last 2 years of his life along with my brother. Who else could make him laugh about the absurdity of his disease and yet be serious when needed.
My mom is 67 and going strong! She lives with her boyfriend of 22 years and either I will help him care for her or care for her myself when the time comes. We already laugh about how I will never remember the order of the lotions she must use to keep her skin beautiful! But whol else will care enough to even put the lotion on her skin? or rub her back or feet when they are swollen? or fix her favorite foods and sneak her ice cream? or sing her the lullabys she sang to me.
Yes, it will be my pleasure.

Nope. I'm going to shave her head and duct tape her hands to a lawn mower in central park.

LOL....that is a joke between my mother and I. (Seriously!)

Actually.....I have every intention of taking care of my parents when the time comes. But I will also do everything in my power to keep them self-sufficient for as long as I can.

My parents brought us up well and provided us with good education, healthy environment and there is quite a number of good childhood, memories. Yes, i will definitely take care of her when the time comes she needs care and love.

We are not obligated by my parents but it's our way of showing our love and appreciation.

I plan to lock them in the garage and use their social security to move to a bigger house with alot of bathrooms.

They really should have been nicer to me when I asked for that bike.
