I am spiritual believing a higher power or powers but reject the idea of an all-powerful interceding entity as depicted by organized religion. Labels get thrown around this section a lot and i'd like to know what you think this makes me.

There is always debate amongst believers as to the amount of interceding going on. Some believe that God has his hand in everything while others believe that He just gives the world a good spin and lets thing fall where they may. We may never know the answer. I disagree with some of the def.s
Atheist - believes in nothing.
Agnostic - unsure of whether or not there IS a God.
Deist - belief in higher power based on own observations and experiences. Does not believe in organized religion.

Sounds to me like you're a deist. Good for you. they're not nearly as annoying as the theists. (Those are the ones who believe in "an all-powerful interceding entity as depicted by organized religion".) Deists believe, as far as I know, in a higher power that doesn't interfere with human affairs much. Go to http://www.deism.com/ to find out exactly what it is. You don't sound like you're an atheist like me if you believe a god exists at all.

Belief in a higher power or powers makes you a theist. If you hadn't added "or powers" you could be a deist. It's a noble company you keep. Despite the propaganda thrown around by organized religion, the intellectuals among the founding fathers, Jefferson and Franklin chief among them, had the same concept of spirituality. At the time the deity was compared to a divine watchmaker. One who created the universe and is now content to watch it run.

It wouldn't be Atheist or Agnostic! You could simply call yourself "Spiritual" And leave it at that.

Atheist: One who disbelieves or denies the existence of God or gods

Agnostic: One who is skeptical about the existence of God but does not profess true atheism.

Spiritual: relating to, consisting of, or having the nature of spirit; not tangible or material.

Or You could call yourself Pagan, Then as long as you don't cause harm to anyone you can DO YOUR OWN THING!

Pagan:
One who is not a Christian, Muslim, or Jew, especially a worshiper of a polytheistic religion.

2. One who has no religion.

3. A non-Christian.

4. A hedonist.

5. A Neo-Pagan.

adj.
1. Not Christian, Muslim, or Jewish.

2. Professing no religion; heathen.

3. Neo-Pagan.

This sounds like agnosticism -- atheists do not believe in a higher power or powers. Atheists also reject the notion of a soul or non-physical dimension of the self. Agnostics do not follow any religion, but believe in the kinds of things you are describing.

Sounds more like a deist to me. Maybe a pantheist.

You aren't an atheist.

"Atheism, the denial of or lack of belief in the existence of a god or gods. "
To me you sound like an agnostic - "Agnosticism, doctrine that the existence of God and other spiritual beings is neither certain nor impossible."
Good luck - you'll be labelled all sorts of things.
