Of course! Unless one happens also to be a lemming of the RRR Cult... the "Religious Radical Right," which is dedicated to hateful and UN-Christian agendas. THEN such a person is more likely to be only a PSEUDO-Christian.
"Apologist," you should **apologize** for your tedious and mostly OFF-topic response.

Yes, you can be nondenominational and still be a Christian. Being Christian simply means that you have accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Savior. However, I don't believe you will do much growing as a Christian unless you get some good preaching and teaching from your church. Once I found the right church for me (An Independant Fundimental Baptist Church) I started growing in my faith by leaps and bounds. My Pastor opens the scriptures to me and his preaching has changed my life.

If you believe and do all you can to be Christian, you are. Jesus did not tell us to make a lot of denominations, but one. In Matthew chapter 5, Jesus says he is not here to start a new religion; but to fix the Jewish one. And it was that way for about 300 years, the the first major denomination came, Catholic. Thirty men had a meeting and 29 of them agreed to start a new church that would NOT obey all Jesus required.
When Bibles became printable and people found out that the Catholic Church was not following the Bible very well; they started new ones, that wanted all of the truth. The Catholic bible even has the Second Commandment removed from it. The the tenth is split into two commandments to make it seem that there are a total of ten.
But IF any denominations are following ALL of the Bible, I know not what it is. So just be Christian the best you can.

Yes. There are a lot of nondenominational churches around here. It just means that thye're Christian but not Catholic, JW, etc. It's just a general "being Christian".

You are a Christian if your faith is on the Jesus that is preached in scripture. It doesn't matter what denomination (or nondenomination ;) ) you are, though I admit that some are wonkier than others.

Hair,
Non-Denominational means that you are supposedly following ONLY the BIBLE with NO man-made creeds. I am a Christian and a member of a Non-Denominational Church. Have a wonderful weekend.
Thanks,

I'm a saved believer in Jesus Christ. I adhere to no group other than the one true Body of believers.
Nobody is Christian for sitting in a building. You're only a Christian if you believe that Jesus, who is God, died for your sins on the cross and rose again.

"Nondenominational"denominations are denominations-usually Protestant.
If someone believes the Nicene Creed, the person is Christian
Whether he lives it or not or is in the state of Grace("saved") or not is another story.

Yes, being a believer is not determined by denominational ties, or lack thereof. If you are indwelt with the Spirit, believe in Christ as your savior, you are part of the Church, the body of Christ, which is all believers.

absolutely! i am a non-denominational Christian. a denomination is a man's take on how christians should live, and it usually stresses emphasis on only one point rather then the whole bible. (ie pentacostal- woman should wear pants, apostolic-use of the prophetic gifts, baptist-woman shouldn't preach/speak in church) Christianity is a whole lifestyle, not just one point. i find that when i go to a non-denominational church we study the ENTIRE bible, not just one point you want to drive.

Yes. Does the Bible talk of denominationalism, or about salvation?
Where is salvation found? In Jesus and none other. If one's life is centered on Jesus - if Jesus is Savior and Lord - then denomination is of no consequence.
Denomination or not, it's all about Jesus.
