The latest addition to their scheme is how quickly Humberto went from a tropical storm to a hurricane. In 16 hours. Big deal. They had 85 mile an hour winds and 100,000 people lost power. In the midwest, we call that a thunderstorm and they pop up in a matter of minutes, not hours.
Last year was supposed to be a horrible year for Hurricanes and there were few. This year they are already behind on their predictions and many scientists are back peddling.
Yet were supposed to believe their predictions that 50 years from now a bunch of polar bears will have died.
These scientists have no idea what will happen next week let alone 50 years. If the globe is warming it is probably from all the hot air coming out of ALGORE.

Actually, the above answerer is WRONG! There are plenty of instances there hurricanes develop that quickly... especially in the peak of hurricane season in the Gulf of Mexico.
And what drives me crazy is they are naming storms they have never named before, just to get the numbers up.
TWICE this season they have names sub-tropical systems. These are storms with low winds and have some tropical characteristics, but nothing much.
Global Warming is a lie. You know it, and I know it. It is the Communism of the 21st century, and liberals will use it to control our lives. They will use to to take away all of our freedoms... but they will still fly around in their private jets because they can afford the energy tax (carbon credits). And we are going to see a horrible future on this planet, as we are starting to make energy out of FOOD in a time when the population on earth is exploding. Now theres a really smart idea....
The good thing though is the Global Warming lie is starting to fall apart. Scientists are suing publications that wrongly put their names on reports supporting global warming claims, and more and more are coming out and saying the earth is going through a natural warming cycle, and man cant stop it.
They cant get the weather right tomorrow. They cant get the weather right for the week. They cant get the weather right for the season.... but they claim they can get the weather right 20 years from now?

Actually, I live in Florida and our meteorologists (who are vastly less educated than the scientists who address Global Warming in peer-reviewed studies) do a pretty damn good job of telling us days in advance when there is going to be a hurricane and how strong it is going to be.
It is the news media that is responsible for all the stupid hype over the weather... "global warming folks" as you call them are quite cool about the matter. (pun intended)
Ever notice how there is a direct link between poverty/education and a fascination with the weather?
After any storm, you will see all the dregs of society come out of their trailers with their shirts off and beer guts hanging out to talk to news cameras about the big storm... it's totally weird.
I think the news hype caters to them... which doesn't seem wise in terms of advertising... but then advertising only really works on the ignorant anyway...

Maybe because they realize that once the Earth's atmosphere gets to the point that it can nolonger maintain to control or hold the correct amount of gases such as the life sustaining OXYGEN that we N EE D to live then we are in great danger of non-existence!! The issue with Humberto is that this has NEVER happened before. A storm has never grown so quickly, not in the Atlantic, not in "hardcore" midwest where you are from apparently, nowhere. We have over 100 years of documented history on the topic now, so when something new happens that has never been seen before, it is noteworthy.
