Has anyone put a fish or Christian emblem on there vehicle and it was vandalized or take off by someone? Also if you do have a fish/Christian emblem on your vehicle, do you experience people driving by and pretend to spit as they drive by your vehicle?

This is not surprising in a multi-racial country and mixed religion. And yet...we think it should not be the case if we respect one another notwithstanding our belief and colour.

The symbol that I have in my car is hanging inside, so it might not be as irrating as it is stuck outside.
But I do have 2 stickers on the back of my car that say: "Caught in a jam... pray!" and "God allows U-turn". So far so good.

May each one of us grow tolerant for one another.

Never put one on my car...that might look odd on a 48 Pontiac. I'm Agnostic, and everyone has a right to their religion if they're not hurting anyone. A fish on a car hurts no one, it's dumb people would vandalize it.

But I do have a Pagan bumper sticker on the truck and get some hate from Christians and others.

i do no longer call it a "Jesus fish" yet think of there is going yet another pretentious individual desiring people to think of they're so pious and so solid. Hypocrites try this to look extra useful than they're. you notice those automobiles with the emblem on them and that they very practically continuously are breaking the regulations of the land, like rushing, incorrect lane variations and no alerts. those people look to think of they very own the roads and each thing else. playstation : i'm a Christian and try to maintain on with the observe of God. there is no good historic previous that asserts this became a secret image for Christians. The early fathers did no longer write approximately it interior the one hundred's, 200's or 3 hundred's.

My vehicle is a bicycle, so I don't have much bling on it.

On the other hand, I'm often challenged by Christians who see my pentacle, and that's not much fun. Perhaps it is a sort of retaliation from someone in your area who is sick and tired of Christian holier-than-thou attitudes?

BTW... I suppose that if your bumper sticker was vandalized, then you might be partly sure that your faith was the reason. Still, your vehicle may have been vandalized because someone thought you were a jerk.

I've been told to do some anatomically impossible acts when I had a "The Christian Right is Neither " bumper sticker on my car. That's why I put the bumper sticker on my beater and not my pride & joy ride.
I'm not going to blame all the members of a religion for the acts of a few psychopaths and you shouldn't either.

I don't put stickers on my car. It's the *smart* thing to do.

O - and Jesus told you to pray in private. The fish symbol was created so that Christians could acknowledge each other while remaining Under the Radar. There is no small irony that what was used as an underground symbol of personal faith has become car jewelry.

I am non-religious.

I think it's ridiculous when people wear their personal beliefs and opinions on their sleeve for everyone to see because this is a way of saying "I think this and so should you", so I the only thing I ever had on my car was a license plate and I never display my opinion about Jesus-fish symbols by pretending to spit at these people or by robbing them of their precious symbol.
