Ask a question, and then get made when someone tells you what they think the answer may be?

Because people are...weird. Or they just want someone to back them up on what they already think.

I always say "If you dont want my opinion, don't ask for it - because there's a 50/50 chance you're not going to like what you hear".

Some people just want "YES-men" answers. There's a difference between agreeing/disagreeing and giving thumbs UP/DOWN, but when people get nasty, or block you, or REPORT you JUST because you voice a different opinion... well... SOOOORRREEEEYYY!!!

People better start growing a SPINE out there! Too many people are being offended at the least little thing. And people who want only "YES-men" answers... well.. then... stop asking questions!!!

Have a polite day!

They aren't looking for someone's opinion or even an answer. They just want people to agree with them. If you don't agree they don't want you to respond. The same goes with the thumbs down.

They wanted 1 of 2 things...

1) They wanted validation for the way they felt and you answered in opposition to that

2) They simply wanted to vent and you happened to be the one they used.

I suppose some people already have an answer in mind and get upset when everyone else doesn't validate it.

it most likely was not the answer the person was looking for. Just ignore them. People are so fickle sometimes.
