Silly, silly, silly.....
God does not need to explain His ways to you, to me, to anyone. Sure, it would have been a heck of a lot easier to just kill all the evil people, rather than to have Noah go to all the trouble of building an ark and then flooding the whole earth. Still, God sees the bigger picture that we can't see. Let's see, there was the increasing of Noah's faith when faced with criticism and public mockery as he built an ark on dry land far from any body of water. Then there was the chance God gave to people to repent of their wicked ways before the ark was closed. How about the fact that the earth was purified and made clean again? What about the fact that there is today scientific proof that the earth was indeed covered with water at one point in history? This provides proof of what the Bible says about that. God doesn't need proof, but He recognizes that humans do. God sees the big picture and He knew that scientific proof of the great flood would validate the truth about what the Bible says, and the discovery of the ark would also provide proof. There are many reasons why God did things the way He did. He doesn't owe you or any of us any explanation. He is NOT inefficient. It is sheer foolishness and silliness to even suggest such a thing.

He didn't kill them, cause he was giving them the chance to repent. If he zapped every person that ever did wrong. There would be no one left.
Why would he make genetic variations just appear? The fossil evidence shows changes of the years from a common ancestor for each kind. Also, it was 2 of every creature, not 2 of every kind. So, all the variaton could have already been there. Lastly, God knew how much food a lion etc would need, so Noah would have taken that with him. And it was only for between 40 and 80 days, not 365 for 148 gazelles a year.

It looks like I'll give a non-sarcastic answer to this.
God doesn't want to be efficient. He wants to give men every possible change of turning around and coming to Him. Thats why He gave Noah so much time to build the ark. Two hundred years to build a large boat and gather everything together. Noah preached to the people and pleaded with them to believe. I think a 200-yr warning is a very kind person. And yet the people were so against God that they refused.

Oh boy, and why 40 years in the wilderness and so-forth. Why not just use a Star Trek transporter system or something. Why not just make everything just perfect today? Why doesn't God just do everything your way? Maybe you are smarter and more wise than God? And much more humble too which explains why you are so amazingly and stubbornly lost. If you could only make God dance at your command.

Wiping out all the evil would be rewarding the earth (in a religious view) right ?
That wouldn't fit God's punishment of people having to overcome sin on their own through belief in God.

God is the epitome of efficiency.
Who else do you know could create a Universe, a planet, several species of animals, plants, fruit, oceans, insects and mankind in 6 days.

if god were even as smart as people he wouldn't have created the mess to clean up in the first place it's just to much like painting oneself into a corner . that's only one logical piece of indicia that there is no god as man has conceived .

Well, I suppose A would be less trouble, but any creature who would destroy his own creation with such abandon would be evil itself, no? Maybe that's just me.
