Hey Guys I am singing in as concert and my best friend is a cancer surviver and he had cancer when he was 14 and I want to dedicate the song Cancer by my chemical romance to him when I do my concert but I dont know if it will upset him or not....do you think it will? I need to know before I make him hate me

In my opinion having someone dedicate something to you should not upset anyone in a bad way.. Maybe make you cry cause you are happy but not like get made or something..

It may depend on how many people are aware that he has survived cancer.
If he was secretive about it, and remains so, then don't say anything.
If he was open about it, then and now, then he will probably appreciate it.
I was open about my cancer, and the girls I do Belly Dance classes with dedicated their annual concert to me, with al procedes going to breast cancer research! It was very moving, almost to the point where I couldn't perform, but a very touching gesture.
