No I don't find it offensive because I know how it ends.
God wins, Satan is defeted already.
You can't find the Cross to offensive or you wouldn't be here.
I'll pray for you. God bless.

I don't know how a cross can be offensive if someone doesn't believe. Now if someone was hurt by someone wearing the cross, then I could see how seeing a reminder of how one was hurt by one wearing the cross would be offensive. I don't like your avatar and I think it is sad because I think that you will miss out by not having God in your life, but that is your right and your choice. Just because I don't like your avatar doesn't mean I find it offensive however, because it is your personal expression of how you feel/believe, in the same way that the cross is for me.

What makes it offensive to me is not what it looks like, but rather that you have chosen it on purpose knowing explicitly that it would be disrespectful to many people here.

I'm sorry if you find people wearing crosses around the neck as offensive. Two wrongs still don't make a right, however. And I am fairly certain that you intended to be offensive while people who wear crosses have no such intention. So your actions and their actions don't really compare when it comes to being offensive.

Nope...Kinda dull, but I'm not offended by it...

Also, I really doubt "Many" people find the cross offensive, when worn around the neck or anywhere else...

Maybe if it was used for a pierced nipple, or something, I could see folks getting offended, but, no, I'm not aware of that, since I really doubt that it's an actual "fact".

No, I don't find it offensive. You do come off as being a very negative and pessimistic person though. There's no reason for you to be offended by someone wearing a cross around their neck. That's like getting offended by someone wearing a shirt with a Nike swoosh on it because you don't like that company. My advice, stop being a bigot, and let people believe what they want to believe. Just because we're in the fan club, doesn't mean we're dyin for you to join (don't flatter yourself).

Well, I am not that religious myself, but I do find avatars that are publicly displayed are meant to draw attention to themselves..for example "No gays" or "no bush" or what have you. Whether you believe in god or religion is one thing, but to have it "on display" out there as advertisement is something completely different. Normal wearing of crosses is still usually more discrete than the avatar. Those who display the huge crosses and walk around with bibles are a whole new story. What people do in their private lives is private....the public does not need to see bumper stickers..like no god...nor "god saves", or the fish emblem. I don't offend easy...I just think it makes more sense to not call attention to it.

No. Just silly. As though you could stop God by your silly little image.

You mentioned that many people are offended when they see someone wearing a cross around the neck. Sounds like a personal problem to me. Jesus even said that people are offended by the gospel, and He wasn't afraid to offend those who criticized Him just because were easily offended by anybody who was different.

Have you noticed that the majority of black rappers wear crosses, and from the words of their "songs", I find it highly suspect if they are Christians.

Did you know Mr. T. always wore a cross? Would you tell HIM that you are offended by his cross?

Like I said, I find you just plain silly.

I am a Christian and I wear the crucifix around my neck. I wear that to remind me of the great sacrifice Christ made for us. I feel empty whenever I remove it. It gives me a sense of security and peace. When I wear it, I will think twice before doing anything wrong.

I don't think wearing the cross is offensive. If people don't like it, can't do it anything. I love Christ not those people. Let Him tell me I am wrong.

As for you...yup it is offensive to all those who believe in God.

Yes to your first question. I agree about the cross thing when it also includes the figure of Jesus, because i don't like to be reminded that He suffered, I would rather see an empty cross, which reminds me that He rose from the dead, and there is hope of eternal life! I don't like to see people wearing crosses just for decoration, when it's so obvious, by the rest of their attire, that they don't care a thing about Jesus.

I find it crude, but not personally offensive. Whether people wanna wear a cross, a star of David, a pentacle, or whatever, let it be. I'm not Christian, and lots of people wear crosses and I don't care one way or the other.

Let it be, being offended by other people's jewelry only harms you.
