for the past few days i am having a major itch all over my body, it increases when i scratch, if i ignore it, it subsides. Also there arent any bumps or rashes. The itch is all over, every part of the body, please help

Go to the doctor. There are a lot of things it could be, and some of them serious, and many of them not. No one here is qualified enough to give you an over-the-internet diagnosis! Good luck and hope you stop itching! It sucks!!

Take benadryl. It has an anti histamine in it. If it is allergy it will help.
Take a bath using Aveno oatmeal bath, it is soothing.
Also, have you changed your detergent or fabric softener lately? It could be that. Double rinse your clothes and use no fabric softener.
Have you changed the soap in the bath, or started using anything new on your body? (shower gel, lotion, perfume, etc)? Use only soap for sensitive skin.
If you've done all this and are still itchy........see your Doctor.

you should have your liver and kidneys checked out. one time I had something wrong with my liver (it wasnt filtering the toxins or something out of my blood) and it made me itch all over. sometimes so bad that I would have scratch welts all over my arms, legs and the palm of my hands would be bruised from my scratching and digging! However, you should definately have those checked.

I asked that question last week for my brother who has those symptoms too. You should go see a doctor.

Maybe poison ivy, oak, or something. if I were you, i would definitely see a doctor. Do you have an allergy doctor? Go see 'em!

use some Hydrocourtisone cream. If this don't help contact your doctor.

take a shower and put some lotion on....
