When a U.S . Citizen marries a non U.S. citizen and they become legal residents without having to leave the country.
What do you think and why? I think that they should bring it back its a right to US citizens.

Well not all of them are scams and I do agree that some people abused the system for money. This is not fair to those who are really in love ...I have been reading this forum about a couple of women that are waiting for their husbands to come back and be with them ..some have been waiting over 4 years. This is not fair.

I don't think so. There are too many US citizens being dupped in to thinking the illegal loves them when all along, all they want is to become legal from the marriage. It makes it that much easier to hurt our citizens.

Because every old fat sow woman and every fat hog man in the U.S. will all of a sudden be married to an illegal. Sooey. They will be married just long enough to be legal. Taxpayers are really going to get hosed on that one.

The problem with that (and the reason the law changed) is that unscrupulous people abused the system and participated in fake marriages for money.

I personally think that the immigrant should get a temporary visa, until she can pass everything to become a US citizen.
