how to trick a fly to sit still, I've killed four, one more to go and the office will be rid of them (for now) but any who, I swear this one know's its stuff, it won't land, when it does its like oooh try it try to get me, im going crazy and this damn fly knows it!

Way to go! Glad you finally got it. The main thing to do now is to find out where they came from, or you will continue this frustrating ritual (probably daily!) Do you work in a food place with customers going in and out all day? Then the flies are just coming in the doors and there isn't much you can about that-but you say you are in an office, so I would try to hunt down the origin of the pesky little fellows.

Might I suggest you keep the windows closed so the flies don't get in, or put screens on the windows! And if you're trying to get work done, popping into Yahoo to post questions isn't the right approach!
I agree, a fly buzzing around your face when you're trying to concentrate can be pretty annoying. But don't give them any ideas. If they think they can drive us crazy, they might try even harder to annoy us.

You go girl! Kill that sucker! I HATE flies... did you know that they vomit every 8 seconds???? How disgusting! Did you ever see a room that had full of dots on space from flies? Well, it's not fly dung... it's fly vomit!
KILL IT! The heck with the mother fly waiting for it to come home... She should have watched over her fly... And who knows, perhaps you put that little fly out of it's misery... it may have been an orphan cause you may have wacked his momma first...! So, no guilt feelings... you saved that fly from being an orphan! Way to go!

I shot one down today using a bottle of glass cleaner..You have to have the spray nozzle on 'stream' though, that mist won't bring him down..
