I fought in this evil war. I was just following orders and honoring the oath I took. If there is a God, will it forgive me?

you chose to do your duty, and that doesn't mean anything about heaven or nhell. Defending those you care about or love, you can't be subjected to hell.

Also, war isn't evil, just inevitable. Like death, not evil, just inevitable.

I cannot say if he will or if he will not becasue i am not God. I can say that if you did repent that he will most likely forgive you. God is very forgiving. And yes He knows you were just following orders. And he knows that you thought that was the right thing to do. So hopefully you have nothing to worry about. Sorry i can't be more assuring but im not God so therefore i cannot tell you if you will go to hell or not. There is a God though,I don't know where he is or what he is,but hes there. He has to be.

Yes God will forgive you, but the only evil thing out there isnt the war but people like you that are against the war. Yes I appreciate the people that fight in the war but I don't appreciate people who say that the war is evil and stupid.

I don't personally know God but I'd like to meet Him. That is if He existed. But if I did meet God and I wanted to study and understand Him it would take an eternity to learn His will, reasoning and how He judges people because He's omniscient. So it would be ignorant for me or anyone else to presume they know if God will forgive you or not. No one can say that God will forgive you except God Himself. If God existed of course..

Substitute She/It at will.

La reigne de sarcasme? I have a feeling you aren't sincere. Ahh well my answer still holds true.

P.S. Don't use french words that are spelled the same in english except with an e at the end. And it's "la reine de sarcasme".

Yes God will forgive you. Look at the book of Joshua God commanded the Israelites to go to battle.

No. He forgives anything that you ask Him to forgive. And you did not do a shameful thing. maybe if you joined in to get the college education and then the war started and you had to go. You are protecting our freedom when you serve your country. Unless you are the traitor?

Forgive you for what? God's people faught wars. There is a big difference between murder and killing, and war is not murder. No where in the bible does it say thou shalt not kill, but it's constantly misinterrpereted. Just like money is the root of all evil...no the LOVE of money is.

That is honorable not a sin. Jesus Christ is the Lord of the
Armies. We are a presence in the middle east and Israel's
friend when all want to destroy her. The only sin that sends
a person to hell is, not believing that Jesus Christ is God and
died for all. That's it!

Thank you for serving. Thou shall not commit premeditated murder not defending you country. We have freedom through
military victory!

Whatever your belief system, serving in a war has alway been considered honorable. Christain, islam, pagan, name it....Serving in the Army of your nation is always smiled on by the divine. I served in Iraq myself, and have no qualms about the issue. I myself am Pagan.
