Luke 23:39-42
One of the criminals who hung there hurled insults at him: "Aren’t you the Christ? Save yourself and us!" But the other criminal rebuked him. "Don’t you fear God," he said, "since you are under the same sentence? We are punished justly, for we are getting what our deeds deserve. But this man has done nothing wrong." Then he said, "Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom."
Jesus is impressed with those who acknowledge God's judicial dealing with them.

I agree, read all of it, but here is a good verse to remember.
Philippians 4:12, 13 I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do everything through him who gives me strength.
Remember that you can talk to God all the time. Just talk to Him like a friend and ask Him to guide you and lead you in the right direction.
God’s Holy Spirit will be with you throughout all of this if you will invite Christ into your life. Turn over every aspect of your life to God’s Will and you will not go through one moment of this alone. He will guide you and comfort.
Forgiveness is so important. Ask God to forgive you, but also forgive and ask forgiveness of all involved. Forgive yourself as well.
Use this as an opportunity to make a new start with your life. Learn to turn o God for everything, and no matter how difficult this experience may become, he will never abandon you.

I agree with the first answer, you need the whole Bible, not just a verse or two. Try to get ahold of the New international Version, it is the easiest to understand, while maintaining accuracy. Also, if you haven't done this yet, I strongly suggest you totally surrender your life to the Lord. Requesting the infilling of God's Holy Spirit, Who will guide you with wisdom, and give you a peace that will get you through this trial in your life.

I am sorry to hear of your situation, it is good that you came here to find strength in your situation, I hope that you are having people of strong faith pray over you. Here are a few verses that may help you... Isaiah 41:10.... So do not fear, for I am with you, do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will uphold you with my right hand. Isaiah 41:13 For I am the Lord, your God, who takes your right hand, and says to you do not fear, I will help you. Psalm 73:26 My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.

Read the Psalms. How about 34, or 37? I am sure God will give you strength and wisdom if you request it and cling to Him. This could be the time of wonderful spiritual growth for you and someday you may be able to thank God even for this.
