The Catholic Church is likely the largest giver. They take seriously the admonition of Christ who said "Feed my sheep."

Vatican II became a special council in that it became used to no longer superb or make sparkling a coaching, yet quite attempt and inspire extra involvement from the laity. interior the previous from my understand-how the missals did no longer have too lots of the laity in touch interior the social gathering of the mass. The salvation question hasn't quite replaced, in that we are going to continuously have self belief that the catholic church is the only way, in that it is the conventional thank you to salvation. In extrodinary situations the place a individual would not understand the gospel or have been defective far flung from the church without understanding that's the actual church conventional by ability of christ. Salvation remains a secret, in experience, that we've got not considered a individual circulate to heaven different than for Jesus and Mary. We do even even with the shown fact that have self belief there are angels and saints up there, yet we conflict via deep examination on their status. wish this helps and if want extra help circulate to the two Catholic solutions or the shape homestead with Marcus Grodie on EWTN.

I'm a Christian but if you want to see Christians who are using God's word for other methods than what it should be for look to the Catholic church. It is rich, yet most catholics are not.

Here's a bit of trivia. Brazil is one of if not the biggest Catholic countries. Yet, Brazil has millions of children living on the street. And the Vatican has not done anything to put a dent in the population of children living on the street. The first thing they could do is offer contraceptives. The second is to sale a painting and feed those children.

Catholics cannot cure hunger, but they can at least buy food instead of the other crap they buy to make their churches and priest look good.

It is indeed the biggest giver, but over the centuries...it has also been the biggest taker. The Vatican sponsored many wars of conquest, and is among the richest nations in the world....Yes...Vatican City is a sovergin nation. The Roman Catholic Church was one of the most successful POLITICAL movements in history.

It looks so holy inside, because it is the place where Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit live.

Basically, all Christians are givers whether you are a Catholic or Protestant cos we all follow one Lord Jesus who was/is a man of Love. It is all about helping one another.

No, actually, I have not. It IS true it has the most poor people in the world in it's congregation/to call it's members, because you are born a catholic so you do not get to vote. You are born into it and many very poor of it's members give a lot to build those huge churches while their families struggle for food and shoes.

If you study the history of the catholic church you will come away with a very different viewpoint of it.

Because that's the way that our culture has come to define the look of the "holy."

And if I'm not mistaken, the biggest giver in the world to the impoverished is governments. However, all such statistics depend on what you mean by giver or contributor and what you mean by "the poor."

Most Catholic Churches are very very old......and that's how buildings were built then.

They give a lot of money to the poor......because they have a lot of money.
