I kiss my dog on the side of her face, like near her ear, just right beside her eye. I sometimes kiss her by her whiskers (side of mouth)

I really don't think so although they can be transmitted from human to human.

I mostly get a cold sore if I go out in the sun or wind and don't put on lip cream. There are some very good creams that have mosturizer and sun screen in them.

Use Zovorax when you feel the cold sore coming on. Its great.

No, you cannot. You should be fine!

However, I'm curious as to why you'd be kissing you dog? I know that a dog's mouth is cleaner than a human's, but that's just not true if there's c*** between her teeth...

Not to sound rude or anything, but that's kind of strange in my opinion.

Hope she gets over her cold sore quickly, though!
