concerning of how you understand the Bible because they have the Holy Spirit as their guide?

if they're not making any error, why are there so many 'born-again" sects and they don't preach the same thing.

1 John 3:9 No one born of God commits sin; for God's Nature abides in him, and he cannot sin because he is born of God

Hheheee that one USUALLY bursts their SELF righteous bubble.

Though one should remember that it is with the OLD concept of sin in mind, not the modern usage. Basically, under old school to sin meant that you transgressed what you had personally vowed to your god(s) to uphold in a special ceremony. That is why a sinner was so vile, they not only did something BAD, it was that they also LIED to the OWN god(s)---a hypocrite. IF a sinner was willing to LIE and DEFY their OWN god(s), truth was NOTHING was sacred to them.

BUT, and it is a BIG BUT, if you didn't swear to uphold something you wouldn't be guilty of sin. Hehehe one of the reasons that you don't see jews out on street corners screamin' that people are sinners.

Deut 23:21-23 If you make a vow to the LORD your God, do not be slow to pay it, for the LORD your God will certainly demand it of you and you will be guilty of sin. But if you refrain from making a vow, you will not be guilty. Whatever your lips utter you must be sure to do, because you made your vow freely to the LORD your God with your own mouth.

One of the reasons that there is SO MANY different groups is because of INTERPETATION. Once the 'protesting daughters' got over the ORTHODOXY-'making the way straight', it openned up the ball park AGAIN.

Ecc 1:9 What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is thing new under the sun.

Hheheee the ORTHODOXY likes to CLAIM that their philosophy stemmed 'directly' from their 'JESUS', but history does paint ANOTHER story. One of the reasons that the ORTHODOXY came into existence was cuz there were so many different sects up until the 4th century all fighting amongst themselves. The roman emperor Constantine finally said 'enough is enough' and made the 'christians' formalize their 'religion'. Unfortunately, only the Pauline sects of 'christianty' were invited to attend these councils.

Once they had their ORTHODOXY, the new church used the roman empire to kill off and destroy all the heretics, the 'free thinkers'. Then when the roman emperors started converting to Christianity, they started burning all the libraries-plunging the world into the dark ages for a thousand years.

The formation and evolution of Christianity is an interesting topic, look into it if you have the time.

Yes, what people have said this? It is like what YouthPastor1995 said. But also, the fact that we are human beings and we all make mistakes is the reason why we need the forgiveness of Jesus Christ.

Good point, DawnUSA. Distinct sects preach differently because we as humans have a limited capacity to understand God. Whenever we try to impose an interpretation, conflict results. The most important thing is basing our beliefs on Scripture and not using our own reasoning to arrive at our notions.

Actually, all you have to do is look at the seven congregations in Revelation. Jesus gave them time, He did not become human just to wish sins away, He learned what is to be of flesh. almost 2000 yrs of living in the dark ages, Christianity was polluted with false teachings. That's close to 2000 yrs of people ruling and making utterances. Coming out of the dark ages. Cleansing and refining is to be expected. God is merciful, just like he was merciful to the Hebrews AND not just to the Hebrews. David? How many times as it been recorded that David did something that God did not approve? David sat in Jesus throne. Many Kings have sat in Jesus throne. Some were forgiven some were not. But, The Faithful and discreet slave and it's governing body. Do you really understand that saying? The whole faithful and discreet slave has excepted a governing body. Most complainers are not of the anointed, so why speak for them? God gives everyone something to do.

romans 3:23 says "for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God" so unless they were not born in sin then even if they claim to be born again they are still sinners for no perfect person exist on the earth today.
Plus do they really understand what it means to be born again! And the fact that they all preach different teachings shows that they can't all be true diciples.
Then Jesus also said at Matthew 7:21 "not everyone that sath unto me Lord Lord shall enter into the kingdom of heaven but he that doeth the will of my father which is in heaven.

Then to prove they make no mistakes, there are those who are born-again who
1) Go to church every SUNDAY, totally missing the Sabath that they were commanded to keep by G-D by one day, because Jesus said "Do not think I came to abolish anything, I came to fulfill them," and advised them to follow the ways of the Father who told Moses--Observe the Sabbath on the 7th Day.

2) Go to church every Chrsitmas, totally ignoring the fact that Christ-mass is a pagan holiday, and that there is no way that someone born at the time of the census-taking could be born in December. They observe Pentecost, which is 50 days after Easter, even though Yeshua/Jesus clearly died on Passover, and according to the Old Testament, 50 days later is the Feast of Weeks or Shavuot, when the Holy Spirit was supposed to come according to the Old Testament.

3) State that a Messianic Jew does not exist, is not a Chrsitian, totally ignoring that in Matthew 15, even Jesus/Yeshua said He came for the lost sheep of Israel..that He was, His Apostles were, Paul was, and that when you read the Old Testament, you realize that the JEWS WERE SUPPOSED TO BE CHRISTIANS--MESSIANIC--AND that did NOT stop us from being Jews...I wish I had been taught the whole book, I wish others were, from childhood...I just think He has a plan--and there is a reason that the Messianic movement RE-DEVELOPED, not first developed, in the years right before the new millennium.

4) They are proud of how they are going to Heaven and all others are going to Hell, even though Romans 10 says it is not for us to determine anyone else's fate

5) They miquote the Bible, hold prejudices against others even though they have been told to "Love thy Neighbor."

I have been born again...I have also learned that being born again does not mean I can not sin, cannot make a wrongdoing..."Being born again" does not mean we automatically are error-free, it means we need to strive to live more the way we were taught by example to live, because if we have the Holy Spirit inside of us, we will live by the way Yeshua/Jesus taught us....and be better capable of recognizing when we DO err, and feel even guiltier because it is playing on our spirit when that happens...

Being born again is NOT A GET OUT OF JAIL FREE CARD...it is having it in our conscience that we should be trying our best to be above that which would land us in jail, or in a spiritual dilemma, in the first place.

I can only advise others what was right for me...I cannot and I am told unless I am sin-free I should not judge them...I can only hold one Holy Spirit inside of me--MINE--and pray when I cross it...

interpretation
why is there so many Bible translations today?
why is there so many sects and denominations?
AND THE BIG QUESTION -
Did God really create the Bible for all to be "different," or is it THAT simple for all mankind to understand Him?

why do some preach prophets, other say its passed?
why do some preach tradition, when the Bible says to work out your own salvation?
why do some say the Holy Spirit no longer works in man today?
why do some believe baptism is needed, others don't?

why all the differences when the MAIN goal is the Cross?

There are errors. God isn't an ole'meany, and all who call Jesus Lord and love God with all their heart and love their neighbor as themselves ARE born-again; and we all learn and grow in grace and understanding.
There are many understandings as to how to worship, serve as a group/congregation, 'be a member of certain denominations', when to meet, when and how to do communion service, what are boundaries in dress ethics, etc., but this is because the body is made up of many members..., and not all are the "foot" or not all are the "liver", and not all are the "elimination processes"..., so there are different focuses for different groups. Go where you fit in and just confess Jesus Christ AS LORD and truly love God with all your heart and your neighbor as yourself and do with all your might what your hands find to do..., as unto the Lord and not unto men.
Be a part of the building crew and not the wrecking crew!! Smile and BE the best member of the body of Christ you can be. Make someone want to be like YOU as you imitate Christ.

People who say they don't err after being born-again are liars. The Holy Spirit is the guide if you let Him guide you. He does not jerk you around by a chain. You have to keep fellowship with the Holy Spirit for His influence to be in your life.

After reading several posts that insist they do not say that, I would point out that it's the extremists who do, and because they are so LOUD that's all people hear. I, too, have heard many people who claim to be 'born again' say that nothing they can do will make a difference and that only they understand the Bible. hmmm....

I'm born again and I have never heard that I will never make another error. I make errors everyday! I'm human, hence the reason to be born again. Maybe you should read the bible and gain your own knowledge of Christianity and then ask questions. There are many people who claim to be Christians who use the bible and religion for their own weird agenda. Decipher God's message yourself then take your questions to your minister or to Yahoo Answers. But please, don't just assume that everything someone tells you is true.
