Hi
Any ribbons or trophies go to the owner...In most handling contracts (like mine), any monetary awards go to the handler.
Sometimes though, if the owner does give the prize to the handler if they have one similar or isn't useful...

The owner of the dog gets the ribbons. You pay a handler a fee for showing your dog and if your dog places in the show ring it is up to the owner of that dog to give that handler an extra tip and how much.

the award goes to the dog, not the person. the prize for the handler is the fee they charge the owner for their service

it depends on the arrangement you make....
usually owner gets the ribbons and trophies and handler gets your $......and courtesy is a copy of WD, WB , BOW, BOS or BOB photo to the handler...

You get them all they are yours. You are paying a handler to show your dog, that is it. It's your dog and your wins. All the best;~)

They are yours. The trophies and ribbons actually belong to the dog so they should come to you when the dog comes home.

i don't think so, i think the handler gets paid and the owner gets the prizes.

They awarded to the dog are they not? and the dog belongs to you so therefore the ribbon is yours too.
