I guess it depends on how old you are. I am 20 and married with a kid so I spend all of my time with my family. I have friends but they arent as much of a priority. When I was younger I spent about half of the day with friends and the other half with family. Me and my mom were really close. I dont think there is anything wrong with spending time with your parents. They are the ones that will always be there for you. Once you're out of high school you wont talk to 1/10th of those people nor will they remember how cool you were.
