Einstein believed in God, as did Sir Isaac Newton.

Are these qualified as non-scientists or non-intellectuals?

Add to this list: Ralph Waldo Emerson, Charles Dickens, William Shakespeare, George Washington, John Adams, Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, John Quincy Adams, Abraham Lincoln, Woodrow Wilson, William Penn, and Daniel Webster!

Were you calling them non-intellectuals also?

What does "all-powerful" and "everywhere" have to do with hearing God when he speaks?

It depends on your definition of "hear". there are many scientists and intellectuals who hear Him when He speaks.

Not many actually listen and embrace what is said.
