There is a widespread sickness, a mental disorder, that metamorphosises in modern mankind behaving in an extraordinary fashion more akin to ancient man.
Praying?
To what?
If prayer was any use at all, pray to the fake god that all earthquakes cease immediately. After all. Your bible tells you that, if you have the smallest amount of faith, you can move mountains.
The people of Indonesia would be very grateful if you concentrated on praying for their safety instead of for selfish reasons. Learning Spanish indeed!!! How self-centred.

today was Rosh HaShana- the Jewish new year- I spent 1/2 the day in synagogue praying. As a Jew, the very least I do every day is say the Sh'ma in the morning and at night, but I usually pray/recite blessing throughout the day

Well my dog had surgery today so I prayed about that. PS - he did great!
I had to counsel two of my employees this afternoon so I asked God to help me do that the right way.
And when I woke up this morning, I thanked God for giving me another day!
And oh yeah - before I started my Spanish Lesson tonight, I asked God to help me learn Spanish too.
Normally I don't pray all THAT much in a day, but for some reason, God was on my mind and in my heart.
It was in the end, a GREAT day!!

I pray before I get out of bed, I pray before I go to sleep, and I pray all the time in between.

Yes, I pray everyday when I first get up in the morning. I light my sage and sweetgrass and I pray. I also pray during the day and before I go to bed at night. I ask the Creator to help me walk in beauty each day and to guide me.

St. Francis of Assisi once said that he does not go to prayer. Everything he does is a prayer. He is always praying. Every breath, thought, word and deed is a prayer.
Have I prayed today? Yes, with every breath and heartbeat.

We are supposed to "pray without ceasing"; I find that hard to do. I can, however, pray while doing other things, sort of multitasking. I pray while I clean house, take a walk, ride the bus, even in the shower.
Sending you a smile to help pick up your day.
