You sure sound like you have a plate full... I suffer from alot of mental health issues too and lately I started brisk walking, we have a nice water front here and it takes a good hour for what I do but that's it... FOR ME...no one else just me. I take my MP3 and away I go, it helps me feel real like I'm alive even for a short time but its something and I'm still looking for other benefits to this but it does help tweak my mood for the better... I'm on enough meds and I'm tired of them so I have to look else where.. Good Luck.

Well, talk with your doctor to see if our medication needs to be worked out a little better. Exercise seems to help in leveling out people's moods. If you did it regularly you would eventually notice that you just handle things better. It isn't an immediate thing, but happens over time. What we are talking here is something aerobic, life walking, jogging, running, bicycling, etc. where you keep a steady pace for a minimum of 20 minutes, but try to go for longer. Consider joining a group that focuses on a subject matter. It could be politics, arts, photography, travel, etc. It makes it easier to reach out to others if you have a common interest.

We are the masters of who we are, and in order to stop your moods from controlling you , you need to decide that no matter how you feel, other people have feelings to and it's up to you as to whether you want to ruin relationships by letting your mood rule your tongue. If you work on it , it will become easier for you to control negative feelings and actions. I am Bipolar, I have gone though the thearpy and the meds, and have learned through my own efforts that I can at most times keep my emotions under control . I refuse to take meds now, because of physical reasons and because the side effects are generally worse then what they are trying to fix.

Hey, i was on Zoloft too and i really didnt know that they would go up to 200mg, i was told 150 is the highest dosege, so maybe see your doctor about a different med, because if your on the highest doseage and its not helping you may need to switch.
Counselling with either a psych or counsellor would be good for you too to help you deal with your feelings as well as taking some meds!
Good Luck.

what you can do is keep yourself occupied with other activity... when your body is tired, you will tense not to focus so much on your mood.... at times it will turn out better when you are not concern too much on it... Best of luck
