I got mad cuz my girlfriend was wearing a crappy plastic bracelet that said love on it the one of her guy friends that I dont even know gave her...then all of a sudden she is really mad at me for getting mad about it... Why?!?!? I dont get it..

I did tell her that i wasnt mad because of trust.. just cuz that bugs me that another guy gave her a bracelet and she just says im psycho.. I feel I have a right to be mad about it and I handled it as any other serious boyfriend would

Because the guy probably didn't intend anything. Do you realize half the sh*t out there in girls' tacky-*** jewelery says "love" or "diva" on it?! Friends (which YES, she is allowed to have) give each other stuff, sometimes for no other reason than they thought they'd like it. You definitely overreacted.

If it's just a plastic bracelet, it probably doesn't mean anything and she probably went mad because she thinks you should have realised that.
I don't think you would have been so bothered if it didn't say 'love' but remember that word is on all kinds of clothes and accessories now. I'm pretty sure it is just an innocent gift. Trust her and apologise for getting mad. You won't get anywhere if you're both mad at the same time, trust me.

You don't know the guy, so you do have some basis for getting mad. But you have to see that getting mad at the bracelet, to her, is like getting mad at her. She may also feel that your anger is an accusation of her fidelity.

I would to. It's just a bracelet from a guy friend. It's the 21st century, all girls have guys friends and most of them will give that girl a gift like that. Mostly all my friends are guys and they sometime do that.(but mostly 2 do that)

I dont blame you for getting upset aboout this because if she is your girlfriend she should not be excepting gifts from anyone else but you. If this is a friend of hers than he should know that she has a boyfriend should have not given her this bracelet. She doesnt quite understand how it made you feel.
have you tried telling her how you feel about it.

So she isn't allowed to receive gifts from friends, just remember that when someone gives something to you. I think you could be concerned if it was an expensive piece, but plastic. Time to get over your self and remember she is YOUR girlfriend, but with actions like that, she won't be for long.
