Wash your hair at night. Put in a good anti-frizz/curl-enhancing solution while it is still damp. I personally love Aveda's "Be Curly." A little pricey, but worth it. Then, put your hair in a loose, low bun overnight. When you wake up, your hair will still be slightly damp--but not noticeably so, so you don't need to worry about blow-drying--and you will enjoy loose, frizz-free waves! Don't wash your hair every day, and DEFINITELY don't use bleach or go too blonde if you dye your hair (this will make it frizz like nothing else).

You can make your own hair product. It's really not that difficult and you'll save oodles of money. I've found my hair to be really nice since going that route.
Basically I use aloe vera, & vegetable glycerin (you might want to add a little jobjoba oil if your hair is more coarse). You wet your hair, put it on a mixture of the above ingredients, put on a shower cap and at the end of your shower using a large toothed comb detangle and rinse. That's all you use to clean the hair, by the way, no shampoo or conditioner is necessary.
You can also make your own spray gel. Spray it on while your hair is still damp.
Boil flax seeds in water, strain out the liquid and discard the seeds. Then add aloe vera a little vegetable glycerin and some lavendar essential oil (it's good for your scalp and will also act as a preservative). Spray it on your curls and scrunch.
I haven't figured out what proportions are best yet but so far whatever I have done with those ingredients has worked pretty well.
For drying your hair, blow-dry on not too high of a heat with a diffuser.

i also have natural curly hair and if you dont put product in it, it will poof and frizz. might i suggest the garnier nuctris (probably spelled that wrong) line they have a curling shampoo and conditioner designed specially for people with curly hair i also use their curl spray you just spray it on your hair when its wet and it helps with the frizz, another product they make that helps with the frizz is called "soft curl cream" this is a little bit sticky and some people dont like it but it really helps with the frizz just apply A VERY SMALL amount to your wet hair and scrunch or twirl your curls to create the look you want then let it air dry. If you use too much it will weigh your hair down and make it look wet which some people like but i do not. IF you dont like this line the bedhead line also has some great products you can buy them at any hair salon i heard paul mitchell has some great stuff too and the paul mitchell hair "serum" or "scrunch spray" is perfect for fighting of frizz. if you dont like letting your hair dry naturally you can get a diffuser for your hair dryer and that will dry your hair but wont make your hair frizzy just put it on the lowest setting and use the cool air instead of the hot air. it takes a few minutes to dry but its worth it. hope this helps and good luck!!

Get a straightener. If that doesn't work, then do hairstyles that distract from texture. (Ponytail)... and maybe it frizzes because it's dry. Put conditioner in your dry hair for an hour or so and wash it out all the way to give your hair the drink it needs.

When you get out of the shower comb it, don't brush it. Use anti-frizzing balm (Frizz Ease or Bumble & Bumble, etc.), use a curling spray and dry it using a diffuser. This dries your hair and curls it without frizzing. Spray a little hair spray and you're good.

I use a really big round brush with the blow dryer. I like Bumble and Bumble anti frizz products but they are expensive. Rusk also makes a good line of straighting/smoothing products. If it is really humid nothing helps.. I just clip it up.. sighs

purely enable your hair to air dry, then upload your favourite anti-frizz gel, serum or cream to define the waves or curls. in case you choose greater curl, use a around-barrel brush and blow dry mushy curls, or use a huge-barreled curling iron for greater leap. For greater knotted up, wavy hair, come a number of the curls out till now including serum or gel.

you should use this stuff called mixed chicks. it has shampoo, conditioner, gel, pomade, and hair pray all made for thick, very curly hair. it tones down the volume, reduses frizz, and brightens your hair a couple of shades. it works wonders.
