Actually females are lower to start, but the age of 25 is the final drop point for both genders.
As you get older rates drop. At age 19, you can see a drop by as much as 28 percent. At age 21, it could drop an additional 31 percent.

Statistically, women under 25 are safer drivers than men under 25. Used to be that car insurance for women was lower because of this. In the 1980's it became one of the casualties of the Equal Rights Movement.

I don't know what state you're in, but in most places your insurance goes down at 25 regardless of gender.

I may be mistaken but I don't believe your rates will lower any significant amount until you are 25 and older....18 to 25 is one of the costliest periods for insurance... happy b/day

It usually depends mainly on your driving record but my sister saw a drop of about 20 bucks a month and she had an accident at 18
