noone would want to buy it and sense in another1-2 years the ps2 will be the gamecube(noone will make games for it.) plus, who would waste their money on getting another ps2 when there current one is fine.
ps. who also agrees that if they are gonna release a console they should have at least 3 colors ready.

I see what you mean, but I guess some people might want to get the white PS2 just for collectible reasons. Although I already have a PS3, if Sony came out with a Blue PS3 I'd buy it just to say that I have one.
It's the same thing with the Xbox 360, they all ready had 3 different models out and then here comes a Special Halo 3 edition. Millions of people already have a 360, but if people will be buying the console it will be just for collectible reasons and probably for people that love Halo.

Well nobody really cares about colors Nintendo is planning to release differant colors for the Wii. When the PS3 was announced at E3 2005 the PS3 was seen in black, silver, and white so differant colored PS3s are a possibility. I can't believe the fact that game developers are still making games for the PS2 its already outdated and nobody wants one anymore.

Why do you care? If you really think a white game box or whatever has no merit then just don't buy one. No need to get all hot under the collar!
