The New Testament is the fulfillment of the prophecies in the OT.

It was fulfilled. Jesus lived it and so those who trust God through Jesus Christ are counted as living it. No one in the Old Testament was able to do that. Therefore the Law was only going to condemn, but the new Law of faith will bring life.

Yes, we are no longer under the law. Jesus was the final sacrifice for our sins. We now live under grace.

though this is true you would not know we are under a new covenant by the way some of the brethren behave.
