Depends on how deep the woods is? Next to my house the woods is about 10 acres. In Alaska it could be 100 miles? Depends on your woods.

Why is this dog running? Is he in trouble? Has he been a bad boy? Is he chasing a bunny or a squirrel? (Sorry didn't mean to mention a squirrel) maybe he was chasing a squirrel that was running from a maniac on a motorcycle??

depends on the breed, the weight, the temperament and the age but if the dog is scared it will run for hours if not days.
