plus i put my real name on the email, and he mentioned my name, so it felt personal, like a personal dig at me. basically he just made fun of my questions to him, which were about a music artist and a film scene....he read aloud, and said in an abrupt tone '' i dont have an opinion on him, right next question'' in like a harsh sounding voice...
then when he came to read the other emails, he pondered them, dignified them, addressed the senders of the emails with respect...but with me, he didnt..
i feel quite hurt, how should i handle this?

(this talkshow is basically a phone in show where you can email and phone in about any topics)

That really sucks ... I am sorry he did that to you... Just remember it is a reflection upon him and not you.

You could always email him back and say you are disappointed that you were not respected like the other people. However, given his behavior, he may or probably will ridicule you again. The best thing to do may be to just find another talk show to listen to. That guy sounds like a jerk!

So, change the channel.
Don't give this guy the time of day.

Get out tonight and do something totally different and fun.
Bowling? Mini Golf? watching skateboarders at the park?
And grab a giant Blizzard.

I once put a talk show host on the spot, and he got so angry at me, that he taped himself yelling at me over and over..and kept replaying it..but the joke was on him, because people called in and agreed with me..there are very idiotic talk show hosts,..i got one, who was so kind and sypmathetic, and I will always love him for that...keep trying, and don't let him get you down...i would politely keep asking questions also, until he does find one he actually knows something about. it isn't you, it's just how the host reacts..have fun
