banana chips are usually fried and have lots of calories - you cant make them any other way. I like them but when i found out how many calories they have...-never had again

It depends. I've seen some flat bananas at Trader Joe's that have nothing but pure banana, no sugar added or anything. Kinda like fruit leather. But as for banana chips, ANY dried fruit like that, you would think it'd be very healthy cuz it's fruit.. but watch out. There are so many hidden calories in them, especially if you're just buying it in a bulk container from a store. You're better off eating a regular banana. A small can weigh in around 100 calories.
