Ok who do you think you are following Christians? God did not send you here to bash people, and destroy people with your rude and self-centerd remarks, we as Christians ar enot suppose to judge, but we are to love and show compassion, and not hate, James says that if you hate your Brother then the love of the Father is not in you, yes we are suppose to wittness and tell people what the Bible says, but we are not suppose to destroy them, you guys that are doing that are acting like the religious people of Jesus' day that HE rebuked and called vipers, you need to repent and show love and compassion and not hate, and apologize to those that you have offended....

For those of you that want to condemn me and say neg. about what I said, take it up with God, I do practice what I preach, and yes it is alright to tell other about Jesus and sin, but do it in a Spirit of love and not in the flesh, what you sow in the flesh you shall reap in the flesh, show love.....

Here is the reason for this statement:
I'm a Christian [not a fake one] and I'm gay. I'm a virgin and I'm 17 but I'm gay and I always have been. I've never been molested or anything. The Bible says that homosexual sex is wrong. It doesn't say that being homosexual is wrong. It's not a choice. I need your thoughts. Only Christians who know about this subject respond please.

I mean, I don't lust after anyone. But I don't want to live alone forever. Would it be wrong if I had a boyfriend but never had sex? I'm not very sexual but I'm attracted to guys physically and emotionally but I would want a relationship more for the emotional part. I'm not a fake Christian and I read the Bible and pray also so it's not like I'm just a Christian by name. It's weird because most people are against it.

You are not a christian if you are gay. You are deceived. I will pray for you.

If more Christians were like you, I might not be where I am spiritually today. I'm not sure WHAT I am or what I believe, but a few good "Christians" I know completely turned me off from it by not practicing what they preached, and actually behaved very cruelly.

AMEN BROTHER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Reading some of the answers from those who claim Christianity, they don't get it! They don't seem to understand that people who are not followers of Christ Jesus will not come to Christ if they see Christians being rude and mean.

You are not judging in your question, you are pointing out facts about how Christians should be modeling Christ! Jesus said that he did not come to save the righteous, but he came to save the sinner. Guess they missed the sarcasm in that. Those who think the are above all to bash someone who is lost ( a sinner) is not worth their time for a polite loving answer. How do you suppose Jesus would have handled it? Oops, he did deal with that as they lead him to trial for one example. He called out the Pharisees because these people were responsible for leading the other common people in the ways of God. They were not doing there job, so he called the hypocrites. He certainly sat down and ate with the sinner though and spoke with love and compassion. What did he do when those he spoke with turned against him? He prayed for them, "Father forgive them, they know not what they do" Maybe others should try this approach. Modeling the behavior of Christ Jesus!!!!!!!

This is not a question that you've made but a very good statement. If people who says that they were Christians, would indeed act like Christ then maybe they wouldn't be the judge, but in others would persecute them like they did Christ, or Paul or the others who have suffered for the cause of Christ. I preached a message about, "acceptance not approval". God doesn't approve of the sin that any of us do. But he does accept us if WE come to him. He's not going to force himself on us, but We have to come to him. Then He'll do what ever changing that needs to be done. Remember He's the potter, We're the clay. ---preachervan2000@yahoo.com

Who in particular is doing these hateful things to you?
We come on this website and share our thoughts and feelings about our beliefs.........granted some get a little irrate, BUT hatred is such a strong word!

I try not to offend anyone, I feel that God gave us all 'free will' to choose as we so desire, if you, ,[ used in a broad sense] feel that our viewpoints differ, then I personally wouldn't be offended by that. And neither should you be if someone else doesn't share your thoughts and feelings.

Calling people vipers and telling them to repent is passing judgment, and I don't think you're in that position, unless you're God and didn't tell us.
Peace.

as christians, we have a responsiblity to tell others about the Gospel message of salvation. that is how we truly show our love for our fellow man. i, like Jesus, want none to perish. but they will unless they know the truth. my heart hurts for so many people who do not know how to be saved ... & many that are just down right not interested.

we just need to pass on the message & let them choose what they will do ... will they accept it or not?? i pray they accept it ... that's why Jesus came to earth.

we should know God's Word & understand what it means & how it is used .... we are not to twist scripture like it so often is when it is taken out of context.

there is a big difference in knowing what God's Word says & judging. we may think we can judge one another, but that is God's job & His alone.

when i read these questions/answers, i get very, very concerned w/ the language that people use.... & the attitudes they have. they don't seem to understand that their words are powerful. they will be judged on every word that comes out of their mouth.

I agree with you 100% I pray over all the people on here that do not know HIM that they will just let go and open their eyes. But you are very right there are alot ( I hate to say this ) ignorant people on here and that goes for both sides. I wish that ALL us Christians would pray for everyone on here as a group that those that do not know will come to know HIM and those of us that do will minister and love and not teach hate, just b/c they do not understand... Thanks for posting this :)
Be Blessed

I agree with you 100% we should love, live and let live. I dont believe by bashing atheist or any other religion that it will help them see and believe in our God, and Jesus christ. Good point.
God Bless.

Aye... agreed.
The thing is though, you have entered the kingdom of Yahoo, where those Christians that can't stand on the word of God in the real world, decide to play God in this one, if they do not like what you have to say, they report you to the God of this world in an attempt to 'shut you up'.
Welcome to the world of 'holier than thou!'
