does anyone know? I know 9am-5-pm, 3pm-11pm, and 11pm to 7am - am i right or are there more

Nope here are the basic hours for three shifts,
7a - 3p , 3p - 11p and 11p to 7a....

It really depends on the company. I worked at one that had 3 shifts, 5 days a week (7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, 11pm-7am). I currently work for a company that used to have 4 shifts, 7 days a week (A shift = 5:30-5:30 for 4 days one week and three days the next). We cut back our shifts and are now just 5:30am - 2pm. It really depends on the company and the way it is set-up and if you work 5 days a week or not.

Don't forget the 7am -3pm shift.

Pretty close. Some companies may vary their schedules +/- a couple of hours. But that's the general idea. FYI, they are commonly referred to as A, B, and C shifts.

you're right...there are other shifts but those are the most common.
