Hi all,

OK, heres my storey, Im only 23 and my right hip is in constant pain at all times, I need it to stop so I wanted to see if anyone knew of any not strong drug related way to treat it.

When I was 19 I had a bad car accident and fractured my hips in 3 places, I have been told there will be degenerative changes and it wont be good forever but I'm only 23 and I'm already in so much pain. The pain is in my right hip where it joins with the leg joint.

I currently am very active which I have been told not to change, im about 130pounds and im 169cm so I'm not overweight at all. I go to the chiropractor every 3 weeks (also have wiplash) and she plays around a little, I take glucosimine.
This all does nothing though.

Can anyone suggest what I can do to minamise the pain? Thanks for your help

you need to do exercises in water. This is going to keep you from putting more pressure on that joint. swimming is the best exercise you can do.

you need to be on anti inflammatory medication. That's going to help a lot with the pain. Try Advil liquid capsules, four times daily. They are very good at helping with pain. You may need something stronger from the medical doctor.

in the evenings take a hot bath with 2c. of epsom salts which helps pullout lactic acid from the muscles and this will help relieve some of the pain. Afterwards massage an analgesic cream into the hip area. This should help if you do it on a regular basis.

I think you should try acupuncture and see if that gives you pain relief. Sometimes when all else fails acupuncture is the answer.

Bursitis. You describe the indicators precisely. When the bursa sack will get SO infected it places strain at the nerves within the subject for this reason you get that just about buzzing soreness - you mentioned twinging - walking down the within of the leg. I liken it to a tuning fork :-) The searing burning soreness is correct within the hip subject and the twinging buzzing soreness runs down the leg. Easy repair truthfully. A steroid injection into the bursa sack. No cause to regard the entire frame with an anti inflammatory and at this factor the bursa is SO inflammed it demands a right away hit of anti inflammatory. You can get one from both a rheumatologist, orthopeadic or soreness leadership professional (anesthegeologist more often than not). Many find irresistible to do it making use of a flouroscope - a relocating xray - to make certain they get the dose correct within the bursa. It's given together with an injection of lidocaine to slash the soreness of the injection. You can both do it with sedation or directly up (w/sedation you ought to do the entire no consuming/consuming earlier than hand and wish any one to force you to and from). DO take it handy for twenty-four hrs after even though! Any different questions involving this permit me recognize and I will attempt to support.
