they like using words such as dumb, idiot, stupid, bigot, etc. to people. Or is something to do with race?

I am not a member of anything so spare me from the anti-Christian blasphemy in response. ;(

If someone says something like athiests are communists and they like killing people and then after being proven the two are entirely seperate continue on their hate speech *cough* Chieko *cough* then yes calling them a bigot is correct.

Calling someone who purposefully denies scientific facts stupid or an idiot is also correct. It all really depends on the usage.

Oh man, atheist BUG ME. Not because they're atheists, but because they tend to think that anyone who isn't an atheist is stupid. I just dont get it! For example, Richard Dawkins wrote 'The God Delusion'. He claimed, as an atheist, that religion was destroying the world. He then went on to describe his atheistic paradise in which parents who taught religion to their children would have those children taken away from them, on the grounds of brainwashing and child abuse. This seems far more threatening to society than teaching a kid religion. A don't get this new 'military' atheist - 'oh no, stop the Christians the Muslims and the Jews, they're going to destroy peace, better degrate them and ruin their lives with our anti-theist hatred!'

Atheists are not a religion and do not follow the Bible, so how would they begin to understand the great lessons about morality and how to treat their fellow man? But then again, many religious people do not follow the Bible's advice either.

Actually some Theists are exactly like that too. The Christians are in many ways a tad more threatening then the Atheists, throwing theats in every direction they don´t like.

I think that depends on the person not the religion or race. I am an atheist and I don't care what religion anyone else is. I don't appreicate when people try to preach theirs on me but I tell them it is my life and I'm happy with my spiritual being.

If your sibling walked into your home saying he/she worshiped unicorns as his/her guardians, you'd be a bit weirded out and sort of annoyed wouldn't you? I imagine that's what it sounds like to atheists (who don't believe there is a God AT ALL) when religious folk say they worship God as their creator and protector. I guess it's a matter of perspective. Personally, I think the Bible makes a lot more sense than any Big Bang theory.

It will happen you just have to get used to it, and not let it bother you, honestly christians are the same way to them, you may not be but some are. Post a question saying don't judge athesit, because only God can judge, and you will see how many christians turn on you... I posted it a few days ago and got people telling me I am unsaved and will yea... People in general are mean.

the same reason some christians are so nasty. it has nothing to do with religion or race. some people are just ignorant! some are even ignorant to the point where they think that being christian is the only thing right and that everything else is unacceptable.

for the same reasons that some christians are so nasty: they haven't thought it out well enough to give a reasonable answer.
Main point here is; atheists can give reasonable answers, christians have to maintain the nastiness, because there is no reason there.
