You must not live in the US, or have a clue, since Christianity is a dominant religion...do you see a lot of Christians wearing the same uniform hat/turban?

I was raised Catholic. (and some people will tell you it's not a Christian religion - but it IS) When I was little, females were required to cover their heads when they attended mass. My older sister and I both had "chapel caps" - which were little white lace doilies. We HAD to wear them. One Sunday - I forgot mine - and insisting that my head must be covered - my Mom attempted to pin a piece of kleenex on my head. I was only about 10 - but I was absolutely certain that my life was going to be ruined forever! As my Mom struggled with the bobby pin - trying not to rip the kleenex - a teenage friend of my sisters came in wearing a headband - AND a chapel cap. She let me borrow her chapel cap - and all was well. I didn't really know at the time WHAT would happen if I didn't cover my head. I did know -however - that wearing kleenex on my head was a fate worse than death!
I left the Catholic church over 30 years ago. I still attend family weddings and baptisms and such. And guess what - NONE of the females are covering their heads these days. I guess the rule changed. sigh.

The pope has a pretty silly looking hat, then the priests and nuns have the robes. Common christians don't really have anything like a turban though.

Lol, thank "God" not. I see the silly turbans and the little anti-bird-poop hats the Jews wear and I count my lucky stars that Christians don't wear ridiculous clothing on their heads!

The short answer would be NO. There is no need to perform acts of works or legalism in order to find favor with God, at least in Christianity.

Some Quaker or Menonite (Christian sect) women consider it proper to cover their head with a shawl or bonnet. I think Quaker men often wear a black hat outdoors.
