I'm writing a book, "Vignettes from the Velvet Side of Hell" and many of your questions and answers are going to play a prominant part in the dialogue. So, do you mind if I steal your stuff?

An English teacher at EKU told the class that we are allowed to "steal" only 10% of what a person says on the internet. Any more is considered plagiarism. Good luck with determining the 10%.

How did you steal it back? If you entered her house or went through her bag then, technically, you have broken the law. But who cares? You got it back and she is hardly going to call the police. I agree that you shouldn't lend anything you are not prepared to lose.
