2,974 People died on 9-11
3,376 American Deaths so far in Iraq

So, Why are we pulling out the troops?
I Feel we need to get Bin Laden for the 9-11 terrorist attacks,
Now, I feel we should justify the deaths in Iraq. Those solders are just as important as the people that died on 9-11!!!!
I Feel We Are At War and we should act like it!

So, What is your option?

Because winning the war on terror is not the goal . . . controlling the world is . . . Do you really believe that the entire U.S. military machine can not catch Bin Laden? We're talking about the greatest military since Alexander and we can't defeat goat herders . . . Secure the oil. Control the world.

I agree with Charity....

We have all these great GPS systems and locating devises for the everyday person and yet we can't find a guy running around in sand dunes. It's not like he's some special private eye investigator with state of the art equipment.... If we REALLY wanted to find him, we would have a long time ago.

George is just worried about his money and oil. He's using this as a distraction because he can't seem to handle being a real president.

Haven't you noticed that he's just focusing on everyone mourning over the troops? And yet, all he's doing is sending more in. He's not accomplishing anything.

Honestly, I don't know what we do now.... But we're at war and it's not working. We have to do something fast though, because there's going to be another 9-11 and America's going to be caught with their pants down again.

The soldiers who died in Iraq died trying to save Iraq, but maybe Iraq is not savable. To apply a democracy to a country you need to make sure the majority agree with this.

The war on terror is a different war which stems back from 1953 at least when US took iranian oil, applied puppet governments so they could steal the oil, set up wars and equiped both sides, funded Al Quada to fight the Soviets, protected Israel, attacked iraq, etc, etc..

There are people who were against this and their hatred is now focused on the US.

The US need to stop taking the oil and change the foreign policy. Let them live their own lives and help only when asked for. So my option is completely leave the middle east and leave them their oil, begin peace talks and see from there.

Capturing or killing Bin Laden will have no impact on the War on Terror other than to make him a martyr before his own followers. Removing Bin Laden would have the same affect as the capture and execution of Saddam Hussein had on the War in Iraq, ie: none. Getting rid of Bin Laden would galvanise support for Al Qaeda and give them renewed imputus to attack us.

The priority for our military in Iraq should be to train the Iraqi government forces so that they can assume control of their own destiny. Trying to force democracy off on a people who have no concept of Western ideas of freedom and probably don't want our ideas of liberty anyway is fruitless and a waste of time. The coalition is stuck like piggy-in-the-middle between warring factions who all want power for themselves and their own group of people above their rivals. Therefore, we need the Iraqi army and police to be trained as fast as possible so that they can deal with and we can our boys home.

9.555 died on active duty between 1980 and 1984! What did we do in 1985? And those soldiers, sailors, marines and airmen who died at the Pentagon are as important as well. But, you wouldn't have known it in the weeks and months after September 11th. No mention in any of the media or during any of the countless fund-raising telethons of the existence of the three military-based charities who could have used some contributions as well:
Army Emergency Relief
Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society
Air Force Aid Society.
Americans don't want to act like we are at war. It might spoil their hairdos or ruin their planned clubbing this weekend.

Well, Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11 did it? I don't understand why the troops are in Iraq. Bin Laden has nothing to do with Iraq does he? Is Iraq threatening to us?
