If you don't know, and you need to know it, they'll teach you.

That goes for pretty much any skill in any armed service. They expect you to show up knowing how to read and follow instructions, and they rest they'll teach you.

lmao no you don't!!!
when i was about to graduate high school a recuiter from the navy called my house to talk to me about joining
i told him i couldn't swim so i didn't want to be in the navy
he informed me promptly that they will teach me. or i can get a job away from the water.
i said no thanks and hung up

i cracked up right after. my mom got a big kick out of it too!

If you jump in the water and start flapping your arms about, you'll swim. Get in a pool and try it if you are worried.

You will when you leave bootcamp, or maybe still be at the bottom of the pool, who can tell.

no but they will teach you, learning how to swim is not hard. its the endurance that's a challenge but its also attainable.
