Especially those who attack the reputation of God. I find it silly because it is hard to believe somebody who is beyond microscopic in the universe, who can't even create anything and goes cry to momma when sick acts as if he is an authority of the truth.

I have also noticed that when they can't come up with a good sense for a sense-----they go sarcastic. Esp. the whites as noticed on YA.

I am not a Christian nor do I belong to any religion but I do believe in a God as the sum of the universal energy. Now that is something beyond your feeble understanding.

I am not Christian, ok? And I despise Christianity and all kinds of religions or beliefs that make the others who are not among them look evil or stupid.

Yes, some atheists are indeed silly and annoying. As are some Christians, some deists, some Wiccans, some Muslims, some Buddhists, some Republicans, some Democrats, some housewives, some husbands, some children, etc... etc... etc....

That aside, it would be impossible for an atheist to "attack the reputation of God", except perhaps in a rhetorical sense, the same sense in which they might try to debate the validity of belief in Santa Claus.

If you find them hard to believe because they're so small in the grand scheme of things, then why do you find yourself any easier to believe? You're subject to the same potential to be wrong, are you not? Or do you somehow think you're bigger and better than most of the rest of the humans on this planet?

Really, if your god saw you speak in such proud, arrogant terms about yourself, I would -not- want to be anywhere in your general vicinity. At least not without a _very_ well-insulated pair of rubber boots.

i've got been an atheist for 3 years, and that i think that those 2 styles of atheists are demanding. a million. those that sense this is had to tell different atheists off for surprisingly lots no longer something. (right that's a sprint, get off your intense horse). 2. The very new ones that act like that theists are so disgusting that they declare they desire to "nuke the worldwide" or the different style of extermination in touch. What makes you any further ideal than us? Oh suitable you're too lots of a wuss to admit you're an atheist to human beings.

some theists are silly and annoying and they believe their God is the only God, and discredit ALL other forms of God just because their "spiritual journey" has landed them at their specific religion. XP
Ok firstly there's nothing wrong with asking for help from people who can actually help you - "... goes cry to momma when sick". So don't try make it sound like they're puss!es, I mean I'm sure you've never been vulnerable, and I'm sure you believe you know the truth, and I'm SURE you've tried to push your beliefs down some body's throat, like everyone does, whether intentional, unintentional, passively or aggressively. For an example "I pray for you" kind of crap!

It is hard for believers to understand why atheists do not believe in God. However, atheists can't understand why we do believe. Calling names is the last thing God would want us to do to anyone! You're statement does not reflect how I as a believer feel about other people----regardless of if they do or do not believe in God. I would help anyone that I meet that needs it, and the general feeling I get from people here is they would do same for a stranger. This is just a site to state our views.

Yes. It's very rude and disrespectful to hear remarks like "imaginary friend" and "pray to a stick I found on the ground. See, it does work both ways. Speaking of which, there was someone who said "you will believe in hell when you are there." Both sides of it really gets old. Oh, by the way, I believe in God. (I will get many thumbs down for that last part. I always do.)

As an authority on the truth, you should know. I don't see how a believer could claim to be an authority on the truth any more than a non-believer.

So be careful where you point that finger because right now you are pointing at a mirror.

Well, annoying is a bit too much. I found them very funny, intelligent, stubborn, love life (but not eternal life) and so on. I have a couple of atheists friends but the Bible calls all of them fools (Psalm 14:1).

WOW did you ever miss the point. Atheist's don't attack 'the reputation' of god, they question god's existence.

As for 'authorities of the truth', look in a mirror lately? Or have you wisely removed them all from the house.

Yes, some are indeed annoying just like any other demographic. But if they come crying to God then they're not atheists. By the way, it's up to us to create what we can in life.
