Have you ever expereinced LOVE as KINDNESS? Either in your dealing with another person - or in a person who has had to deal with you? Do you know someone who practices random acts of kindness on a regular basis? Do you - out of simple love?

Can you share a story about being a loving person through kindness?

Love is described as: kind and patient, never jealous, boastful, proud, or rude. Love isn't selfish or quick tempered. It doesn't keep a record of wrongs that others do. Love rejoices in the truth, but not in evil. Love is always supportive, loyal, hopeful, and trusting. Love never fails!...

Peace.

we had just moved to Oregon, when we got here, the house that we were to rent was rented to someone else.
neither one of us had a job, and we ended up living on the river bank, in our car.one man came over and ask how we were doing,
and we told him we were doing fine. he left and came back later, brought us a box of food, and a 50 lb sack of dog food, for our dogs. he said the lord had told him to do it,
we had never saw him before or have we seen him since.

You are one of those persons that is very kind and May The Lord bless you. My mentor who died of cancer was that person to me she help teach me how to be a woman of God and was truthful and matter of fact about things and she was not very liked for it at times But she was a genuine bonafide christian who loved the Lord and reached out to others and some day I hope to be the spiritual mom to someone like Elke-Mommy was to me that is what I called her she was a TRUE Titus 2:3-5 woman and I miss her so much but she is with the Lord.

God bless you and propser you in your ministry of love and kindness to people Hugsooooooooooooooooooe4g

I receive so much loving kindness in my life that it would be very difficult for me not to give it back. If I feel sad or angry or negative I try to do something loving for someone else - just something small, sometimes, like holding a door open or reaching something down from a shelf for someone, or saying something to make them feel good - and it makes me feel good.

I always think of my godmother, who told me that love is not emotion, it's action. Don't just tell someone you love them - show them. Words are important, but actions speak too.

The most difficult thing is to be kind to people who are unkind - rude or aggressive, maybe. But that's the most challenging form of love, to be your usual kind and giving self and not let yourself be changed by the behaviour of others.

What a lovely question that was. Thank you for asking it.
