I am a teenager attending a Bat Mitzvah ceremony immediately followed by a party. The invitations didn't specify casual or formal attire. What should I wear?

Dress as you were going to a nice party.
A skirt or dress is just fine.
Try to cover your shoulders.A shawl can help out there.
Get More dressed up than you would for school.

Have fun.

For my buddies Bat Mitzvah, I wore an consumer-friendly party dress. make useful its no longer too fancy, you do no longer prefer to be donning something extra suitable than the guy whos Bat Mitzvah that's!

I've been to only three of them, but for all of them, the girls wore nice skirts and tops, or sundresses, while the guys wore nice slacks and sport coats.
Hope this helps, and have fun!

any decent pair of pants and nice shirt are fine. unless you're a girl. then it's a dress or nice slacks/shirt. they aren't formal but jeans are usually frowned upon.
