Yes, I have allergies. I enjoy the fresh air as much as they do but when your eyes are watering, your nose is running, your sneezing, and you have a headache it makes it hard to get any work done. It is a very small office, less then 8 people.

Just tell him politely. "Hey, I'm not sure if you were aware, but this time of year my allergies are really bad. I've been having a hard time breathing and concentrating on my work when the doors and windows are open. Would it be okay with you if we kept them closed?"

Simply tell him the truth. Obviously this is an issue due to allergies. So tell you boss, "I'm sorry, but because I suffer from allergies, it makes it more difficult to breathe when the windows and doors are opened. I miss the fresh air, as well, but I use (X) product (if there is something like Febreeze that doesn't set off your allergies), which seems to leave things smelling fresh."

Just politley tell him "Sir/Ma'm lately you've been opening up the windows a hole lot and it's been really hard for me to breathe lately. I made an appointment with my doctor to see what's going on with my lungs. But until then could you please just keep most of the doors closed and maybe we could get a couple more fans..."

and yes I think I do highly advise from you that you do visit the docotor. It sounds as if you have serious allergies and/or lung problems

Hope this helps!!!!!

You must have some sort of allergies.

Most people LIKE fresh air coming in. If you have some type of medical condition, get it documented and present the paperwork to your boss.

Otherwise, let everyone else enjoy the fresh air. You didn't give us a lot to work with here.

It's probably the pollution or allergy to some airborne particles, panic attack to loud sounds? To make things easier, i sometimes consider a third person's opinion to reinforce what im saying. then it would seem as if two people are agreeing with you...and ur boss wouldnt be as omniscient over you! Say something like "my doctor told me that... or a friend told me that my loss of breathe might be due to..." Good luck!

get documentation on what exactly you are allergic to and give a copy to your boss. you might also want a copy for yourself that the boss has signed so if you end up with allergies because he continues to open the windows he can pay your bills for the month (because you can't work). once he has to pay your bills along with his own he'll think twice about opening them again.

Sweetie air is vital - no need to be polite if you cannot breath - say I CAN"T BREATH.
