That is so sad, omg. School kids these days are so mean! Honestly, if I were you, I would go to school with the short hair and a cute headband or something and use it for your style. Short hair is in! Do these kids know you had cancer? That is so mean! Don't listen..
:)

You survived cancer you have every right to have short hair and not worry about extentions. Take them out and be proud your a survivor girl. You show that short hair off hehe My aunt had long black curly beautiful hair and she had cancer and it all fell out and after the cancer was gone she had short hair and she was proud of it. Dont listen to any of those kids. Do not feel depressed either. You should be happy that have over come some thing so big in this world. Just wear some hair clips or head bands and just remeber hair does grow back. It make take a while but it will grow. Be Proud!

Everyone else beat me to it but honestly, don't pay the kids at school any attention. They'll find any reason to make fun of someone. They'll call a skinny girl bird-legged, an average girl fat, and an overweight girl a whale. Hair is the same.

I know you said you can't afford much, but I would wear your hair natural and go to a place like SuperCuts. They should be able to help you achieve a cute, short hair style (think pixie cut) and work with what you have.

Girl, you survived a very tough battle and I feel so bad for you, having to put up with those brats. Just remember, we all respect you, and we're sure you'll look hot, rocking your natural hair!

Maybe you should just wear your hair out normal find the most sexy hair styles that are for short haired females. Some celebrities you could model after are Natalie Portman, Kira Knightly, and others. Now a days people are into that androgynous look, you know like you can look like either a boy or a girl and make your make soft and smoothe not overly flashly because you might come off as a drag queen looking girl boy thing.
Anyways, the point is not to change who you are it's not your fault that your hair is short so the best thing for you is to eat better take care of your and still look good untill it grows out.

the worst thing you can do is feel bad about it. i know you can't control it, but try to ignore them when they make fun of you. just remember that you were strong enough to survive cancer, so what are a few immature and shallow comments to you? i have a friend that is battling leukemia right now, and she went through chemo a few months ago. her hair is growing back now, but it is really short and thin. instead of making fun of her, people respect her. just know that there are people that think the same about you even if they don't tell you, and that not everyone is like the jerks that make fun of you.

just keep your head up and forget about those losers. no matter what you do with your hair, you're better than them. your hair will grow back and you'll be beautiful AND strong, and they'll still be shallow, ugly (at least on the inside), and immature.

this may well be a stupid question, however the weave hair suits your organic shade, staggering? because of the fact they does no longer say it regarded pretend if it did no longer ^^; no longer attempting to be propose or something >.< there is this one female this is black that is going to my college and you may fairly tell whilst she has extensions in because of the fact her hair is a fairly distinctive shade than something of her extensions. yet then there is yet another black female that advance into in considered one of my instructions and you may't tell whilst she has a weave in in any respect, yet you comprehend she has one in because of the fact she'll have short hair for a at the same time as, and then long back :P it may additionally be because of the fact they notice you without notice have longer hair sometime once you probably did no longer the day in the previous, and that they call you out on it. i'm white (in case you may no longer tell x3) however the college that i bypass to is a melting pot. X3 so no person fairly cares or will pay interest to that style of stuff. i think the main you're able to do is that in the event that they ask if this is pretend, say "No this is real hair, this is purely a weave. Do you have a topic?" in an exceptionally calm way, and attempt to no longer sound too aggressive or they are going to easily hassle you extra because of the fact they comprehend it bothers you. Oh, and you're especially with or devoid of a weave, and don't enable every person inform you otherwise :]] <3

Please, what you need to do is either come up with some snappy response or tell them something that'll make them feel like crap. Either way would be good for me. Do you want to joke with them a little, making it seem like it's not a big deal? Or do you want to run with the cancer angle and make them feel like crap for teasing? Whatever you decide, say it real nice, not like you're pissed off. If you sound real mad, others will jump on you more.

I've found that when you say things in a really nice tone, people don't know exactly how to react. You can almost see the wheels turning: "Is she serious?" "Was that a joke?"

Awww I'm sorry other kids are being so mean to you! Like another person said, check out locks of love. They donate a free wig to you made of real hair so it won't look fake. I donated my hair to locks of love. I wish it could go to you but unfortunately I can't choose. And until you figure something out tell those bullies you are proud of your short hair because it is proof that you are strong enough to pull through something nobody should have to go through.

Good luck! Hope I helped!

Those kids in your school are real brats! That is really rude and mean, and it's okay if you can't afford a wig, it doesn't matter! If they don't understand what you have gone through with cancer, they're soo stupid! I can't even believe that. Don't listen to them, and patiently wait for your hair to grow back.. Stay strong
