When you're introduced to someone and they say, "mucho gusto," what do you reply? Also, what if you're the first one to say something? Is there something else besides "mucho gusto?"

You could reply by saying 'el gusto es mio' ('the pleasure's mine). If you're the first one to speak, you could also say, 'es un placer' (its a pleasure).

Hmm...
I don't know much Spanish...
"Mucho gusto" would translate into something like, "It's a pleasure to meet you", right?
So then you'd just reply with the Spanish equivalent to "The pleasure is all mine" or something along those lines.
Right?

you can either reply "mucho gusto" back or you can say "igualmente" which basically is just saying that whatever that person said, you're saying it back.

Have a great day :)
