When you date a woman, are you affectionate by showing her you like/love her by wanting to kiss, cuddle, hold hands. When do you show that affection right away or wait or being affection is not really your thing? If being affectionate is not your thing and you dislike getting mushy, how come?

Showing affection differs on the person. Some people don't like the whole PDA thing. I don't mind a lil PDA, but there is a line that can be crossed. I find that if you're open and honest with your significant other about the issue, there will be no problems. Good luck.

if i actually like her, then affection is great. the more the better! and i love when she initiates it too. very fun. even in public, as long as it's fairly tame. :) i like all the things you describe. kiss, cuddle, hold hands, all that.
if i don't like her and it's just sex, affection other than sex is very unpleasant, and i don't want it.
so, if the guy is affectionate with you, he probably really likes you and isn't just after the sex.

It all depends on the girl to be honest. There have been girls ive dated where I was appalled by being mushy with them. And others where it was alot of fun.
Cant say exactly what it was, but must have been something in particular they did or didnt do.

I think it goes back to how your parents were around you. I come from a portestant family so distance was the norm. I have been around familys that hug at every meeting and that seems nice. I guess a person could warm up to it but it would take time depending on past experiences.

...of course I like doing all of those things babe...especially with a very special lover...why not? Allot of guys simply aren't into the PUBLIC displays and signs of affection with anyone darling....it messes too much with their alter-ego status otherwise....how silly and unfortunate for some of us men huh? Mature confident men do what they want darling...so find one that sorta sees things your way babe...otherwise ya only get as good as you give...agreed? LOL!!!
