Taste in hot dogs is subjective and tends to be regional.

Hebrew National hot dogs are Kosher, so they are only made from beef from the front half of the cow.

Nathan's Famous come from Coney Island and I like the taste, other people think they are too highly seasoned.

Vienna Beef hot dogs (in a Chicago dog) hit the spot when I want a meal on a bun.

Ball Park franks plump when you cook them, and are indigenous to my hometown, Detroit. Coneys were invented here also!

Oscar Mayer are okay, they have more brand recognition than flavor, in my opinion.

Some of the best hot dogs I have ever had come from a Mom and Pop sausage shop. Check out the specialists in your neck of the woods.

I never used to pay attention, but my husband swears by them and it's the only kind he'll eat (not for kosher reasons). I grew to love them too. They're all beef, which is more tasty than Oscar Meyer.

Whats best is a personal preference. What you like may not be what I like and vice versa.

I never understand why people ask these types of questions. Why not simply ask if anyone has tried them and what their opinion was??
