Read 1st Corinthains 6 9-10
9Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders
10nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.
And the lastest Medical Journals do say that homosexuality IS a choice brought on by one's enviroment, People you surround yourself with, things you read and watch, etc.
If this is the case , try to change these things ASAP!
good luck

This is really about labels and identity.
People have a problem with those who say they are Christian and gay or homosexual. To most people you are identifying with two conflicting labels. So what are you? A practicing Christian who has homosexual tendencies, or a practicing homosexual who has Christan tendencies?
The choice is the same as with all sin... either you follow the temptation, or you follow God's revealed will concerning it.
It is no different than someone who wants to steal. They may have the urge and desire, but they must discipline themselves not to act upon it.
Christians can accept your having temptations. They do too. It is in living after the flesh, instead of for God, that they will find hard to accept. Most people, Christian or not, find it not only morally wrong, but will react with disgust and loathing at the very idea. This is despite the media barrage and agenda to "desensitize" those who are not homosexual.
Those who have bought into the "politically correct" agenda and way of thinking will accept your right to do as you would like, as will most Christians. They just won't hold you accountable for your actions for fear of being labeled bigot, intolerant or hateful. A Christian will, because of their love for you and God.
edit:
The bf idea? It's like putting your toe in the water before jumping in. Not a good move...

1. Adam was Male and Female starting out.
It didn't work so GOD put Adam to Sleep and Took Out the Female and Created Eve.
2. All Fetuses start out Female. If it is going to be a Male then Tostesterone is Washed across the Brain, Severing Nerve Endings between the Connecting Tissue (nerve tissue) that connects the Left HemiSphere and the Right HemiSphere of the Brain. A Female is Totally in Touch with the Left and Right HemiSpheres and Very Emotional.
A Male has been Damaged by the Tostesterone Wash and is not Totally in Touch with both HemiSpheres so they are not so Emotional.
If the Wash Fails in a Male, the Male can be Very Emotional.
3.Males have Breasts. (left over from Adam befor the Female was taken out.)
4.Men can be converted into "Females"---Women can be Converted into "Males" per se.
5.When a Human Being is sent from Heaven, they are O.K., but when they Enter the Earth to be Born of a Woman, they (All of Us) get Messed Up, Some more than Others.
6. It takes Jesus Christ to Look Inside and See Just WHO (male, female so on) We Are.
All of Us Need Jesus.
Salvation open at this Time for EVERYBODY.
No Matter Who or What we are, we all need to get our Spirits Recreated (Saved, Born-Again) so we can go to Heaven.
AFTER we are Born-Again, The Creator of the Universe (Jesus Christ, Risen from the Dead) can help us Figure OurSelves Out.
This is what I have Learned:
There are 1. Males---2. Females---3. What-So Evers
If a Male goes after another Male Sexually, it is Wrong.
If a Female goes after another Female Sexually, it is Wrong.
What-So-Ever's are all Mixed Up.
Sorry, I cannot Look inside and See what a Person is, or is suppose to be.
Jesus is the Great Judge.
HomoSexuality is not the Unpardonable Sin (Hebrews 6: 4,5,6)
HomoSexuality and Lesbianism won't Keep you out of Heaven IF IF IF you have Accepted Jesus as your Saviour (got Saved, got your Spirit Recreated).
Jesus Loves EveryBody.
HE Died for EveryBody.
Getting Born-Again is FIRST---and MOST Important to All.

Look mate, I'm a Christian too since I respect Jesus and I believe in his teachings. He professed love and forgiveness, he was the most understanding human being. Personally I think His words were altered by ignorant, greedy people with an insatiable thirst of power. The Bible is incomplete and it has been edited several times according to the wishes of ruthless earthly and spiritual leaders. All the answers are not there. Still, try to accept yourself, love yourself and love others, lead a decent life, find someone who cares about you, it's no crime. Think about hell, fire and extreme heat? well I assume people haven't been to places near volcanoes and even if they have, with all the climate change we're roasting during summer. Torments, suffering, dead, disease, pain, famine, war, I think we have all that right here. When we die we are all going to the same place, home. Jesus said do unto others as unto you. Just be a good person, if someone asks you for help and you can do it, then help them, be nice to people, treat yourself well, be a good person, that is all you need to do; life will teach you lessons the good or the hard way. People are just like you. None of is them is closer to God than you or me. None of them can bless you or condemn you, we are all the same and Jesus told us that. Psychologically speaking, it will do you no good to repress what you feel, you're still young, you have a whole life ahead. Love is the greatest gift God has given us. I'm not in your position but I respect everyone, why should people think they are better than others? Whoever 's free of sin let him cast the first stone.
You won't burn in hell unless you've got delicate skin and decide to go on holidays to a tropical island ;=)
Seriously, don't give yourself such a hard time, it's not a choice as you very well said. haven't it occurred to you that God, now that we are over populating the world has decided to make people homosexual? Maybe it's that maybe not. Why test YOU in that way and not others? It's no choice, you are what you are and you should be proud of that. How many great men and women in history have been homosexual? A lot I'd say. What cares about your actions as a good man, what you do behind closed doors is nobody's business but yours.
God loves all His creatures and he forgives them all. He has nothing to forgive you. People who don't understand you are fanatics and they don't even love themselves they hate everybody because they are afraid.
Have good life bro.

I don't know what is worse about your question: the fact that you are gay, the fact that you wine about it or the fact that you make anti-christian propaganda in the middle of a war against muslems. Let me tell you why:
In pre-christian Celtic and German society homosexuals would not have survived - their peers would have killed them - and lesbians would have been raped. Get a grip. Homosexuality is not functional and thus neurotic behaviour (that can be trained away). Why do you want to have anal sex? Do you want to make a crap baby?
So, normally I do not agree with gay people, but what is worse is that you wine about sin and stuff. If you are gay, you are gay. Get help and change it or stay like that, but don't be a weeping little wooz!
Even though I am not Christian I think that it is sick that you connect Christian and gay like this today. Muslems are always depicted as virile and have 2 to 4 women. Christians are gay. What are you? Muslem? Are you a latent muslem? Gee, get a life. Go talk to a shrink instead of making muslem-propaganda on the internet.

I agree with your comment that being homosexual is not a sin. I'd be really fascinated by anyone who can say, where, in the New Testament, there is a reference to homosexual acts as a sin.
You see other than a few basics, I have little belief that the old testament is the word of God. It is mostly a narrative of the world before God needed to destroy it ... now that in itself makes it most unreliable ...
On the other hand, Christians - a little challenge for you - convince me with the words of Christ, not those of prophets and false priests.
And before you start hissing, I'm a straight Christian; the idea of homosexuality does nothing for me - I'm just intrigued by the question and the responses.

The best way to understand this is to really study Romans chapter 1. Paul lays it out for us, in that each time we allow our thought to be away from His God lets us over to an even worse way of thinking.
Now I want you to take a deep breath and hear this. YOU ARE NOT GAY. YOU were made a male and as a Christian male you must accept that. Some wherer in the scheme of things your mind set has been told a subtle lie. Biut you are not gay and you were not born that way. you may have tendencies to be less masculine, I do to. I have been in your shoes and I will not go into detail as to where his road took me, but i can assure it is a lie from the pit of hell.
I want you to think on this idea, why is it that God condems homosexuality? If it is "natural" as the gay rights activists purport it to be, then why would God be against it?
I'm not gonna answer that here and now, cause I want you to think about it and give me an honest reply, you can reply on my profile, and even if you don't get an ansewr, let me know what you think.
I believe you are on the edge of a breakthrough for God. I can help, several others here on Yahoo can as well. Icommend you for your courage to speak out, and I would urge (in the meantime ) you to not allow yourself to be alone with anyone (male) that you may find attractive or a (female) that finds you attractive. Keep up the faith and know that above all The Lord loves you just as you are.
God bless you and let discuss this further, I will not preach to you but I will take you to theplaces in the bible that have helped me to oversome my sexual addictions.
God Bless

I'm not a Christian, but I can't resist. ALL Christians are "a la carte" Christians. In the first place, the Bible does not make consistent sense, so it's impossible to "live by the Bible." You're always going to wind up picking and choosing, because if you follow this, you've just disobeyed that. Theology through the centuries has tried to invent fantastic workarounds for many of the Biblical contradictions, but it's only tangled the web. At this point, if you could possibly wrap your mind around the welter of confused nonsense that's supposed to pass for doctrine within any denomination, you'd have driven yourself insane. But most "Christians," of course, never get a fraction of the way up the hill. They're content to remain largely ignorant of their religion and its tenets, so that they're never actually confronted with the contradictions and absurdities of the Bible and church dogma - and if they are, there's a sleazy Sunday School equivocation for everything. Anyway, critical capacity is so rare in human beings that most will ride right over the nonsense without noticing anything wrong. Gay Christians are particular examples of the general case. It's possible to explain away the "anti-gay" passages in the Bible by arguing that they've been mistranslated and misinterpreted - and no doubt, much sense has been bedevilled out of Scripture through the process of translating ideas from language to language, culture to culture and epoch to epoch - but such subtleties almost miss the point. The truth is that gay people have invented a "working Christianity" of their own, based on their own limited knowledge and comprehension of the religion, just as all "Christians" have. And insofar as it does work for them, fall to, I suppose.

I found a site that includes this and more information.
Very few people have even heard that a homosexual orientation can be changed through prayer and the matchless power of the Holy Spirit. We not only affirm that such transformation is possible, but we have seen it happen.
Each person has his (or her) story of how sexuality developed, and we need to avoid quick answers and formulas of prayer.
The physical, sexual attraction is only the surface of the deeper areas that need healing.
Above all, we need to be sensitive to the feelings of anger, fear and shame that the person with a homosexual orientation is likely to express, because society has lacked compassion and treated him or her as an outcast.
Visit the site, perhaps it can help you!

im not a christian but i do know the bible, ask yourself this in the bible does the word homosexual get mentioned?
in the bible does it say do not sleap with a man as though he is your wife?
well if you want to be a good christian i sugest you check all the labels on your clothes for mixed fabrics as loads do and i can guaranty all the people who condemn you are to (the bible pays as much attention to both) but if you want to be a good human being and have a loving relationship with someone then be true to yourself.
what does god love more truth or lies?
I sincerely hope you work it out so you can be happy but don't let anyone tell you what or who or how you should be you be who you are and it is loved so here is a big hug.
