For those of you that do pray, please do, and for those of you that don't then at least hope, the entire nation doesn't suffer too bad from the heat
especially the elderly and the children.

Prayer request
...............

According to the weather reports, it is our understanding that it is
122 degrees in Iraq right now -- and the low will be 111! Our troops need our prayers for strength, endurance, and safety.. If it be God's will, give these men and women the strength they need to prevail.

I'm so happy only a couple of negative responses. God bless our country and those that defend it and all of those who pray for it.

If those are the day and night temperatures; I'm confused.
I know about the daily heat and the living conditions for our troops. I am also aware it is cold as hell at night there.

My sister-in-law is stationed in Yuma, AZ and the temperatures there are 110-120 during the day also.

Our troops have No choice concerning their ordered stations, but the Iraqis do. They could move away to a better climate.

Prayers are great for them. But what they really need is Popsicles, baby wipes and insect repellent. So while everyone is praying go down to the dollar store and pick up a few things to send in a care package. The Popsicles are the liquid ones that you freeze. Yes they have freezers to freeze them.

I pray daily for our troops and our veterans as well. Thank you for bringing the heat to my attention, being as I am in the Arizona desert, I feel like an idiot for not having considered it before. I will add that concern to my prayer.

Thank you. For those who can, consider making a donation to the USO. That great organization makes our troops in Iraq lives a little bit better every day.

i prefer the troops decrease back from the place they're being misused, Korea they play a needed function of stabilizing the two u . s .'s. convey everybody living house from Afghan and Iraq, No concern with that, enable those fning ragheads kill one yet another off. We had no corporation u . s . construction first of all, as quickly as Saddam became hung, Bye Bye, and we did not do it.

And don't forget about the 40 pounds of gear they have to pile on!

Yes...the dollar store is AWESOME for care package stuff. WalMart is good, too. They have the cheapest baby wipes (and beef jerkey, freeze pops, tuna kits etc)
