Duncan hines chocoalte frosting good until 2 weeks after opening, it almost four weeks can I use it?

Is the two weeks just for quality or could it hurt you if used after

It's so full of preservatives that I think ur fine. I think it's quality because it gets a little hard and crusty!

If it looks ok and smells ok, you can use it.
