ok he got the facebook after we started going out
we both agree that single means not dating
yes it's important because he should be able to admit that he's w/ someone
and he never acts like he's tired of me or anything

I didn't fill out my profile on myspace at first. My best friend called me and said, "are you aware you are listed as single and it says that you don't want children?" I was not aware. So maybe he didn't fill it out. Or maybe he had the account before he was your boyfriend and just hasn't updated it. Just playfully say, "Ummm excuse me sexy, why does my man's account say he is single?? Because you Sir...are TAKEN!" And then give him a big smooch. That's how I would handle it.

Is it the only place where he appears as single?
Does he not treat you like his girlfriend?

He probably just forgot to change it. Just mention it in passing, but dont dwell on it for too long, or he might start feeling you're getting a bit over bearing.

Speaking only for myself, I look at "single" as never having been married. Period. I may be dating someone. But I'm still single.
